Nourishing the imagination the soul and the eyes

I went to see Brett  Whiteley  exhibition here in Brisbane a famous Australian painter and I had seen several pieces in different exhibitions around Australia but I was always left untouched . I am not a fan of damaged lives, drugs and alcohol and its pretty much what people talk about when referring to his life I am rather interested in the artworks which usually speaks for themselves and so the personal lives of people should remain private in my eyes and I don't think inspiration comes in a bottle or an injection either.

But I must admit I was charmed pleased and happy to see excellent artworks that I could relate to. The curator and I had a short conversation about a drawing where Brett is represented mouth sew and the curator kindly explained me what was the period as I asked what happened to him to draw himself like that. 

The sculptures ,drawings , paintings were all very interesting and finally I admired and understood the talent of this iconic Australian artist .
