The need to draw

Drawing is like any other skill keep practicing otherwise you loose. I practice my French in many ways sometimes I loose my English!  Drawing like language is to be practiced regularly. Draw male, female bodies , skinny ones, muscular ones, flabby ones, thin ones, bony ones, plain ordinary ones, fat ones and even obese onesie you have the chance, so my hands don't loose it and argue with my desire to draw.

Your brain is saying

Are you ready to embark on a thrilling journey into the world of drawing? Get ready to push your boundaries, challenge your limits, and unleash your inner artist. Drawing is not just about putting pencil to paper; it's about expressing yourself, capturing emotions, and creating something truly unique.

What tools do you need to start your drawing adventure?

All you need is charcoal , paper, and sit quietly and look for seeing . Let your imagination run wild as you dive into the world of lines, shapes, and shadows. Don't be afraid to make mistakes – every stroke is a step towards mastery.

How can you improve your drawing skills?

Practice, practice, practice! Like any skill, drawing requires dedication and perseverance. Set aside time each day to sketch, doodle, and experiment with different techniques, different medium. Take risks, try new styles, and embrace the unknown. The more you draw, the more you'll grow as an artist.

What can drawing teach you about yourself?

Drawing is not just about creating art; it's about self-discovery. As you draw, you'll learn to see the world in a new light, to appreciate the beauty in the mundane, and to express your thoughts and emotions in a visual language. Drawing is a journey of self-exploration and personal growth.

How can you overcome creative blocks?

When faced with a creative block, don't give up – push through it! Experiment with different subjects, styles, and mediums. Take a break, go for a walk, or seek inspiration in nature. Remember, every artist faces challenges, but it's how you overcome them that defines your artistic journey.

So, are you ready to embark on this daring adventure into the world of drawing? Grab your pencil, it's time to make your mark!

My last male model was a middle age thin, tall and muscular and this very young lady is at the antipode visually. It is like having a visual contradiction and somewhere between your head and shoulder there is obstruction going to your hand ....the brain message does not correspond to what the eyes see and the hands want to do but the message is muddy.

Draw with your two hands you will feel your brain hurting like gears on the car when badly used. But draw !

(some might say I am not politically correct ...my eyes see what they see)
