Eloquent, grandiose watercolour artwork, egg beaters of the 1950's. The ultimate toy of my infancy and the reminiscence of glorious smells coming in waves from the kitchen. This tour de force of visual art representing a simple kitchen utensil is in figurative expressionist style, colourful, bold, dynamic.
Afternoons of not jumping like a monkey or screaming like Tarzan for the cake to not fall flat. It was magical to see it rise in the infernal heat of the oven. Taboo for us kids to approach and dying for dinner time to come to taste the magic of the master of the kitchen.
Fabulous happy memories full of whispers, expectations and month watering.
