Exhibited at Art From The Margin Gallery in Shrine Loud 2022 in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
A unique figurativeexpressionist watercolour panting which reveals its strength in a synergy of emotions .The narrative is about me becoming a mother in my 39th year. Neena being the third generation of adopted girl in my lineage it is about adoptionand unconditional love. I will never believe that normal people would love an adopted child differently than if it was theirs. My heart went to the poor girl who put this beautiful child for adoption and in an instant I had a different perception of what my own natural mother went through. The ultimate sacrifice , the ultimate act of love putting your child in adoption in hope that they will have a better chance at life.
