Corn staple human food. I first learnt about corn importance culturally in Mexico where it is a major symbol of Mexican culture for centuries.
Corn in Quebec where I come from is a big crop tand we celebrate doing "epluchettes" which are parties peeling off the layers of the beautiful food. Bon appetite!
